[ Description ]
The project began with a Victorian-inspired reference point but evolved into something more sculptural and culturally grounded. The creative goal was to explore how fashion, identity, and African cultural influence intersect inside a controlled studio environment, using texture, silhouette, and form as the primary visual language.
Warner directed the lighting and composition, building the set around deep red tones and high-contrast studio conditions to amplify the drama of each look. The final styling centered on a 2024 fur coat by designer Imran Ghalip, layered with directional wardrobe choices by stylists Taylor Brett and Will Charles. Hair design by Nely Arias drew from S- and C-shaped vase handles as a reference to African cultural form. Makeup by Jayde Green added warmth and tonal balance throughout.
The result is a body of images that treat the studio as a world unto itself, where fashion becomes sculpture and the subject becomes a living art object.
