Photographer, Composite Artist | Fine Art

[ Description ]

Labeled God is a self-initiated fine art project built as a photographic composite. Four images drawn from three separate bodies of work were combined in Photoshop and layered for meaning rather than documentation.

Each element in the composition functions as an Easter egg. A luxury brand label stamped onto the subject's shirt reframes the body as something purchasable, a commentary on how identity becomes a commodity. A sticker placed over the subject's raised finger gun poses the question: "Who were you before the world asked you to change?" On the CD the figure holds, a second image is embedded and stamped in orange with the reference JOHN 10:34, a verse that translates to: you are a little god.

Together, the layers build a single argument. We carry divinity, but the world conditions it out of us through labels, expectations, and the slow erosion of self. The orange stamp is a recurring visual element across Warner's work, functioning here as both disruption and illumination.

This project is currently in development for gallery submission. It has been shared on Instagram and draws from works previously exhibited across the United States.
